Customer Reviews of MacKenzie Cottage, Ballachulish - Sleeps 2
st comment: Comfortable little cottage in a good location - plenty to see and do but be prepared to drive about a bit. Range of places to eat out within reasonable distance. June 2012.
nd comment: Well appointed and quiet, in excellent location for touring the south west and central highlands. Ideal for a couple or a single person, but would probably be a little cramped with any more than that. Bank, shop and pub within a few hundred yards, petrol station in Glen Coe, less than a mile away. Stunning scenery, literally from the front door. Would happily stay here again. Sept 2011.
rd comment: The cottage is ideally situated for hill walking in the Glen Coe, Rannoch Moor, and Mamore hills. The local Coop store is very convenient at a short walk distance. Similarly the Laroch Bar, next to the Coop provided very satisfactory evening meals and acceptable real ale, (Caledonian Deuchars IPA). Oct 2011.
th comment: Ideally situated with amazing views. Close to shop and pub, which serves reasonably priced "pub" food in a modern dining room. A good centre for touring the Fort William area. The central heating was a god send despite staying in August! Aug 2011.
th comment: MacKenzie Cottage, was very clean and well presented with parking right at the door. Microwave would be handy for the kitchen otherwise kitchen had everything that we would have had at home. West Coast of Scotland beautiful location, with lots of places to visit. Lots of walking routes, water activities and cycle paths for all ages. Local people very friendly and helpful. July 2011.
