This spacious detached bungalow is situated on the edge of this pretty village and 3 miles from the first of many sandy beaches, with nice views across the countryside from the rear.
Furnished and equipped to a good standard, with its large living room and kitchen, it has an airy feel.
It is an excellent base to explore the Whithorn peninsula, with its spectacular coastlines in every direction. The area is steeped in history with sites dating back to the 5th Century. Visit the nearby book town, Wigtown, a lowland distillery and two golf courses.
Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 4 miles.

9th comment: The property is conveniently located on the edge of the village of Whithorn. The overall property layout is excellent with the living, dining and kitchen areas close together and the sleeping, bathroom areas at the opposite end of the bungalow. Lynwood’s location is excellent for exploring the Whithorn Peninsular and Galloway Forest Park, however travellers should bear in mind that it is over an hours drive from Dumfries. April 2010.
