The Tower was built from granite from the nearby Cruachan Mountains 100 years ago. A unique feature is the 'Tower Lounge' (shared with all apartments) which boasts amazing vistas across the Loch and mountains to Kilchurn Castle. The surrounding woodland garden can be enjoyed by guests who can loose themselves in this true haven of tranquility and relaxation at any time of the year.
The Tower is 5 mins from the village shop and pub (serving bar meals) and this is an excellent location for touring with endless opportunities to appreciate the diversity and beauty of this area. Recreational amenities in the local area are varied and superb - these include fishing (loch, river and pond), golf, walking, climbing, cycling, canoeing, birdwatching, watersports, and winter sports/skiing. There are many tourist attractions in the local area as well as boat cruises and the famous West Highland railway line each way to Oban and Glasgow.
