In a courtyard setting, amidst the rolling hills of Peeblesshire, this detached holiday cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful area. Formerly a pottery studio, the contemporary furnishings and open plan design are ideal for relaxed holiday living. Conveniently located for Edinburgh (18 miles), Glasgow (32 miles), Peebles (12 miles) and Biggar (7 miles), there are a great variety of restaurants nearby where local produce can be sampled. Visit the wonderful gardens at Dawyk, Kailzie to see ospreys on webcam, and historic Traquair to get lost in the maze. Hill walking, golf, fishing and pottery sessions (by arrangement) are all available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 7 miles.

3rd comment: Very modern inside, home from home the owners were very helpful and keen to assist with making your stay a pleasant one, giving advise were to go and what to see. As for the cottage you have everything you need inside and excellent for the disabled, great holiday. It was my mother’s 90th birthday who’s never been to Scotland she absolutely loved it.
