Set next to a walled garden of 1.5 acres, this delightful traditional stone-built cottage was originally built to house the gardener for the 1000 acre estate surrounding a large Victorian mansion but has now been extended and extensively renovated to create a warm, elegant home in the country house style. Accessed by 1/2 mile of private road from the main West Coast route south of Oban (4 miles away), this is an ideal peaceful location yet within easy reach of many activities and places of interest. Oban offers trips to the islands, a distillery, cinema and sports centre as well as extensive shopping. Sailing, diving, horse-riding, water sports, golf and tennis can all be arranged. Guests staying at Glenfeochan enjoy free fishing for sea trout, brownies and possibly even a salmon on the River Nell. Loch fishing can also be arranged. Shops 4 miles. Good choice of restaurants in the area.

This charming cottage has its own pretty enclosed garden with barbecue and teak furniture, and guests may also use a picnic site (with pinic table) on the top of the hill behind the cottage with superb views over the valley. There is a ramp access and the spacious ground floor rooms have wide doorways. The interior design is very tasteful with comfortable furnishings and some lovely period furniture.

Ground floor: 1 twin bedroom with en suite bathroom (low bath with hand rail); lovely sitting room with wood-burning stove, dining room, large well-equipped breakfasting kitchen, utility room, cloakroom with wc/whb.

First floor: 1 king size double with en-suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms, newly fitted shower room. Cot and high chair available.

Cooking by electricity, oil-fired central heating plus wood-burning stove. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, 2 televisions, DVD, video, CD player. Bed linen and towels are provided.
