Lime Tree Cottage, nr Dunfermline - Sleeps 5/6

1st comment: Lovely setting, lovely cottage, very comfortable with lots of home comforts. Horses in the field right outside our cottage, fantastic. Feb 2012.

3rd comment: This was a last minute change of property for us as the one we had originally booked was sold by the owner.We are so glad this happened as Lime Tree Cottage was brilliant and we would certainly go back. Very handily placed for visiting Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow as well as further north and other places in Fife eg St.Andrews. The local chip shop provided a quick tea one night, delicious fresh fish, highly recommended. Feb 2012.

5th comment: Our pleasure at our holiday began when we came through the lovely woodland approach to the chalet with the really impressive view across the Firth of Forth to the Pentlands. Everything was really clean, comfortable and tasteful. We didn’t want to leave-and certainly want to return. Our great granddaughter was especially impressed by the visiting squirrel! Oct 2011.

6th comment: Accommodation was excellent, prime location, near enough and far enough (for peace and tranquillity) for all locations in region, all you would need for a holiday is supplied (apart from dishwasher), will definitely return. Aug 2011.

7th comment: The property was well appointed, modern and surrounded by lovely views. I was delighted to find a good sized grassy area and woods with rope swings beside the property - the kids had a ball! It was even nicer than the pictures on the website, would definately recommend. June 2011.

9th comment: A terrific cottage in a lovely location. Not for anyone looking for a wild time but perfect for rest and relaxation. Everything you could possibly have needed was provided. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spacious. Children loved the open space outside. Was a pleasure to stay there. April 2011.

15th Comment The accommodation was ideally situated. We enjoyed clear views across a large valley to the hills beyond. There was no noise and almost no traffic yet we were about 5 minutes awy from the nearest shops. We were also about half an hour by car from dozens of attractions, which ensured we had plenty to do. There were also ponies in the field outside our window, which the children thought was fantastic. July 2010.
