Customer Reviews of Hazelbank, nr Lochgilphead - Sleeps 4
st comment: The property was warm and comfortable with a good kitchen and kitted out to a high standard . Follow the suggested directions and not the sat nav as sat nav takes you down a tiny B road that is hard to navigate . It takes some time to get around as you would expect on minor roads off the beaten track but the scenery makes up for it . The cottage is a good central location for a number of attractions including the beavers of Knapdale forest the main object of our visit - we did not see them so will have to return ! Dec 2011.
nd comment: A great little property at the bottom of Loch Awe. It is remote, 10 min drive to nearest village and 45 min drive to nearest town (Oban) with full amenities but perfect for a secluded getaway. You must cycle the Crinan Canal trail (bike hire at Lochgilphead not at Crinan) and also take a Seafari. Amazing wildlife and scenery. Had a brilliant time. The only downside was the hamlet of Ford is on the logging road so be prepared for lorries in the early hours of the morning. Sept 2011.

th comment: A lovely cottage in a very nice little village. There is lots to do in the area but the roads are generally small so there is some travelling time involved. Despite some pretty poor weather we all had a great time. Aug 2011.
th comment: Excellent cottage. Well fitted out. Very modern. A bit out of the way but wonderful scenery. June 2011.
th comment: A comfortable and cosy cottage! June 2011.
th comment: Visit Kilmartin and go to the museum. And within one square mile of the museum, there are dozens of things to see, for example ancient monuments. Around the cottage it is really quite, and there is wonderful wildlife. March 2011.
