Customer Reviews of Granite Cottage, Boat of Garten - Sleeps 8
st comment: Granite cottage is a real gem. This was our second visit. The cottage is very comfortable and homely with lots of space. It is in an excellent location with off road biking/walks close to the door. It’s only about 20 minutes drive up to the ski centre car park giving access to the Cairngorms. The one rainy day we had we headed up to the Moray coast, which again is in easy access. There is a shop across the road which sells all everyday essentials and a fish and chip van pulls up outside the cottage on a Thursday and serves excellent fish and chips. Feb 2012.
nd comment: Fantastic cottage - will recommend it to others. July 2011.
rd comment: House great for children as you don’t worry that they are going to damage things as it is an older property as are the fixtures and fittings. Remember to take towels as not included in the hire. June 2011.
th comment: It was a nice home from home cottage. Jan 2011.
th comment: Very cosy yet spacious. Nov 2010.
th comment: Typical highland cottage. Plenty of space and conveniently situated to visit Cairngorms. July 2010.
th comment: Old fashioned but very comfortable. May 2010.
th comment: It was a good base for exploring a very pleasant area. Only fly in the ointment was that we are used to recycling and were not given sufficient information about it. The caretaker was very helpful (she told us about the children’s playground just up the road), friendly and approachable but left us to ourselves. July 2008.
