Customer Reviews of Glenmill Cottage, Glenmavis - Sleeps 2-4
st comment: We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owner was very welcoming. It was a very relaxing, peaceful with lots of nature surroundings on the farm. Well behaved dogs, goats and Shetland ponies. Aga cooker was excellent which kept the whole accommodation warm, plus cooking on it was an experience which gave best results. There was no need for coal fire as it was already warm. I am missing Aga at home. Oct 2011.

th comment: Exceptional in all respects. May 2010.
th comment: The location was ideal which may surprise some people but it suited our needs for Edingburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. Nov 2009.
th comment: The owner really makes you feel welcome & nothing is too much trouble for her. Cottage a little remote but well worth it due to its superb setting. Cottage extremely clean & well equipped. It is exactly what you expect a Scottish country cottage to be. As long as you are prepared to explore the area & use as a base , would highly recommend. Sept 2009.
th comment: We would recommend this property to everyone. We felt immediately at home. The property is deceptively large, despite only having one bedroom, which was what we wanted. The Aga was fantastic for warmth and for cooking and for drying our clothes overnight. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, Helen, and her sister, Nancy. They were so helpful - we felt that we had known them for years. A beautiful cottage, isolated and quiet - but next door to the owner!! Clean, tidy, warm - everything and the ’kitchen sink’ provided. July 2009.
th comment: Helen, the owner was friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The property was very well equipped and spotlessly clean and Helen’s attention to detail made for a very pleasant stay. During our two weeks I felt that the owner could have done no more than she did to make us feel valued and cared about. My husband and I can thoroughly recommend a stay at "Glenmill" to any of the users of your website and would like the opportunity to thank her again for her kindness. June 2009.

th comment: We had a great time in this beautifully looked after cottage in an idyllic setting. July 2008.
