Customer Reviews of Glencoe Cottage, Sleeps 2-3
st comment: What a fantastic stay we had in May 2012. Property was faultless. Owners were brilliant. Location in the heart of Glencoe with amazing walks almost on your doorstep. Co-Op 3 miles down the road in Ballachulish. The 7 hour drive from Lincolnshire was 100% worthwhile and we will without doubt be returning to Glencoe in 2013 and hopefully many more areas of Scotland in years to come. April 2012.
nd comment: Nice and friendly cottage owners. Cottage is beautifully situated in the heart of Glencoe- Invercoe, it is not directly to be seen from the street as old trees are blocking the view. It is a very quiet place. Ideally located to start daily hiking tours either starting directly in Glencoe or only a few miles away. The area has to offer a lot for outdoor fans! The cottage is also conveniently located to visit Oban, Fort William or other day trip destinations. Other activities at the lakeside are available. Perfect scenery to find quietness and peace. Good restaurants close by as well as a small grocery store. The place has everything one could think of and one does not miss home at all. We certainly recommend the place and we would stay again. April 2012.
rd comment: very quiet location and well appointed, nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. owners were very friendly and helpful. Beer, biscuits, milk, coffee, tea all provided which is a nice touch as were the fresh flowers in the sitting room. March 2012.
th comment: The cottage was close to many things, but away from it all. Heating was very effective, so it was lovely and cosy when needed. the quality of furnishings and fittings was lovely and everything was there. Look for the otters in the loch! Feb 2012.
th comment: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glencoe Cottage. The whole place was decorated beautifully with lots of interesting ornaments and antiques. The cottage felt warm and inviting and no detail was overlooked, from a radio and cooking scales in the kitchen to DVDs, books and games in the living room. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and after they greeted us we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine in the fridge, tea and coffee in the kitchen and freshly cut flowers in the living room. A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Aug 2011.
