Customer Reviews of Glen Affric Cottage, West Highlands - Sleeps 2-4
st comment: I was made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A little off the beaten track the surrounding area was great for walking and enjoying the great outdoors. Nearby Cannich has a small supermarket and a few pubs (free wifi if you need it). July 2011.
nd comment: Christine was most welcoming and helpful and we had a lovely time despite the snow showers. March 2011.
rd comment: Can’t say no more, it was better than we had hoped for. Aug 2010.
th comment: The property’s situation is in a very beautiful setting. At first it seemed a little small, but we soon accommodated to it. July 2010.
th comment: Elevated position, enclosed garden (for the dogs). May 2010.
th comment: The view of the countryside from the patio window is lovely. The fresh flowers were a nice touch and the property was wonderfully clean and new looking. Our dogs and ourselves were made to feel really welcome and the owner couldn’t have been nicer. July 2008.
th comment: Though the weather was poor, this did not dampen our wonderful experience, from the warm greeting of the owner to the majestic splendour of the country side. Sept 2007.
th comment: Beautiful location, peaceful, friendly hosts, wonderful views. Sept 2006.
th comment: This a a very nice cottage, the only slight problem being the shared facilities and the problem of disturbing the neighbouring attached cottage. This was not a problem for us, but I imagine it could be if there were a noisy family next door. One minor issue was the use of coins to obtain electricity and the use of the washing and drying machine. Our personal view is that we are quite happy to pay more to have these included in the rental. The owner was very helpful and kind and we cannot fault her care and concern for her tenants in any way. We had a really lovely holiday. Aug 2008.
