Located on the outskirts of Fintry, awarded "Best kept village in Scotland", in an elevated position and surrounded by stunning scenery.
This east wing upper apartment forms part of an elegant country house and enjoys views to Ben Ledi, Ben Vorlich and Ben An to the north and up the Carron Valley to the east. The property is set in a 35-acre estate, which provides excellent walking, an abundance of wildlife and it is not unusual to see a herd of Roe deer graze on the top lawn.
This is an ideal location for those who wish to explore the Trossachs and Loch Lomond, the western and central Highlands.
Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

5th comment: This is probably one of the best holidays we have had in Scotland, the people of Fintry were really welcoming and the hosts John and Meg were genuine, friendly and helped make our holiday what it was. This will be a place we will be visiting again. The village is very dog friendly as are the owners of the property. Massive gardens well off the main road for free running and playing for your pets. 14th Comment A beautiful 4 poster bed a genuine log fire comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen all went to making our holiday in Scotland a home from home experience. The friendliness of our hosts and the locals in the village made it that little bit more appealing. The local pub/restaurant was great for a good night out. Fintry is the the perfect place to go if all you want is a bit of peace and quiet and a lot of beautiful scenery to look out onto. March 2009.
