This traditional terraced cottage is situated in the charming village of Leadhills and is surrounded by open countryside and spectacular landscapes. With the Southern Upland Way passing through nearby Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland, the area is popular with walkers and cyclists of all abilities. An ideal location for the wildlife enthusiast with walking direct from the door. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway all within easy reach. Shops, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
Ground floor: Living room/kitchen with beams and tiled floor. 1 double bedroom with beams. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Steep stairs to first floor: 2 single bedrooms, each with Velux and sloping ceilings.
Soild fuel burner in living room (fuel inc). Soild fuel CH and elec inc (£20pw Oct-Mar). Bed linen and towels inc. H/chair on request. DVD. CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. F/freezer. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.
