A short stroll down the hill and through a cave leads to the sandy beach and smugglers harbour where beautiful coastal walks can be enjoyed with geology and nature at every step. The harbour is now used by crab and lobster fishermen. There are excellent recreational opportunities locally including cycling, pony trekking, archery, golf, fishing, scuba diving and 4x4 driving centre. The Southern Upland Way skirts the cliffs above the natural harbour at Cove before turning inland to finish at Cockburnspath. Shop and pub in the holiday park 1 mile away.
