Glencoe Cottage, Glen Nevis - Sleeps 4-6
Situated at the foot of Glen Nevis, these semi-detached holiday cottages offer a very good standard of accommodation and are in an ideal location for touring the Highlands. Fort William, known as the “Outdoor Capital” of the UK, boasts a wealth of outdoor pursuits including climbing, hill walking, winter skiing, a variety of watersports and mountain biking on the world championship track. There is fishing, golf, birdwatching and plenty of gentle forest trails nearby. The Jacobite steam train which featured as Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films, allows you to see some of the most spectacular scenery on its 40-mile route from Fort William to Mallaig. Ride up Aonoch Mor mountain in a gondola or visit the famous Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase. Boat trips to spot the abundance of wildlife can be taken from Fort William or you can cross on the Corran Ferry and explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Day trips to Loch Ness, Inverness, Isle of Skye, Glencoe and Oban make great days out. Fort William has a leisure centre, variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed and patio doors/dining room/kitchen. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

6th comment: Cottage was in an excellent location for climbing Ben Nevis as was on the Glen Nevis road. It was only a 10 minute walk into Fort William. It was easy to find. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for our holiday. The owner live next door in the B & B if we needed them. May 2011.
