Customer Reviews of Cluain Ghrianach, West Highlands - Sleeps 6+1
st comment: A most lovely setting and relaxing house to stay in. Could do with a tumble dryer. We have stayed here twice and would consider a third visit. Sept 2011.
nd comment: Beautiful location with fabulous veiws accross the loch and some marvelous sunsets. Aug 2011.
rd comment: Stunning property in a truly amazing remote location. Will try and get back there one day. July 2011.
th comment: The house was amazing, aleady booked two weeks next year, this house has everything. The views were incredible fom every angle from the house, the wildlife was literally right on your doorstep. Stags birds (very handy to have a bird book in the house), eagles galore, and take some jam as we found out the Pinemartin loves it. Two minutes from the property, turn left at the bottom of the drive you could book boat trips on the loch, speak to a nice man call Graham, this is an experience of a lifetime. The seals and porpoises were great and if you love fishing they have all the gear you need. If you need groceries go to Stonthian to the Keystore, they have everything and I mean everything, there is also a post office, and you can get Petrol. There you could also head to Acharacle they have a general shop, a fish and chip shop and a Doctors Surgery. Sanna Bay & lighthouse is well worth the drive, the scenery is amazing (a good tip take a flask or drinks and a few snacks with you). On the way to Stronthian look out for the green forestry signs that say HIDE, you work your way down a path to a secret lookout where you can watch otters, birds, and the funny seals sunbathing in the sun, this also had two car parks one disabled and the hide is very easy to get to. Everywhere you go on to Ardnamurchan there are hidden gems to find. Best tip I can give you take the Corran ferry it takes two minutes and cost £6.40 but saves driving around thirty extra miles. Fort William is worth a day trip if you have never been, huge Morrisons and lots of other shops there and Ben Nevis is certainly worth going up, even for a cup of tea to post your postcards and dont forget your camera. I thinks thats enough secrets for now but can’t wait to return counting down the days. Best holiday we have ever booked your company. Thank You!! March 2011.
