1st comment: Very comfortable once warmed up. Not much in macduff but central for exploring the coast and venturing inland. Nearby Duff house and grounds well worth a visit. Best fish and chips Pennan. Suggest spare bed linen be made available. Findhorn and Findochty both very pretty. April 2012.
2nd comment: Bryn Awel was comfortable, cosy, and welcoming - as was the welcome basket! Good views from the kitchen and garden, over the shipyard to the sea. Excellent Fish & Chip shop close by, and very good Chinese takeaway also close-by (can see it from the kitchen). Macduff is a interesting little town, situated in a delightful part of Scotland, with lovely countryside and wonderful coastline. Would recommend Bryn Awel, Macduff, and Aberdeen/Moray. May 2011.
