st comment: Lovely little cottage in a beautiful quiet setting, ideal for a quiet holiday although Edinburgh is less than an hour away if you want to visit, plenty else to see and do not that far away. June 2012.
nd comment: Great garden for dog, cairn terrier did not get out. Friendly chickens. Fantastic area for walks. May 2012.
rd comment: Perfect size cottage for 2 people in quiet rural location, close to coast. Did not expect anything other than what was listed in the description despite other visitors comments in visitors book. The cottage served its purpose. April 2012.
th comment: Perfect cottage to escape from the ’rat’ race. Sept 2011.
th comment: The location of the property was excellent for visits to Edinburgh either by car or rail from Dunbar. We also enjoyed Holy Island and Bamburgh castle. The cottage was peaceful and made a great base to return too after a day exploring what Scotland and Northumberland had to offer. July 2011.
th comment: We loved the location - quiet and peaceful, surrounded by woods and rolling countryside. The cottage was only just over a mile from the A1 which meant getting around the area was really easy. We found the property to be very comfortable and well-appointed, apart from the hob and combi-oven - we would have preferred a conventional cooker. July 2011.
th comment: Cottage is very cosy and is perfect for two!Beautiful views and is very quiet. Owners are very friendly and left use welcome gifts of wine, mini eggs (for Easter) and fresh eggs from their free range chickens which were amazing. Would recommend for those who was peace and quiet in the Scottish borders. April 2011.
