Customer Reviews of Bankhead Cottage,Aberdour. sleeps 8
st comment: A lovely quiet setting on a farm. Two families could easily be accommodated here. The farmer and his wife were very pleasant and helpful. Aug 2011.
nd comment: Bankhead Farm Cottage is set in a beautiful part of Fife with wonderful views towards Edinburgh and the Forth Rail Bridge. The property is an excellent base to tour the surrounding areas. The bedrooms are spacious and with 1 double and 1 twin plus a bathroom on each floor is suitable for two families to share and still give privacy. It is very well equipped, especially for families with young children. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Feb 2011.
rd comment: We liked the fact that the property felt like the family home it had abviously been. We felt comfortable and at ease, and the owners made it feel like it was ours and not theirs during our stay. We had everything we needed and the house was the perfect base to discover Fife and Edinburgh. Oct 2009.
th comment: The cottage was perfect. As soon as we walked through the door we felt right at home and were impressed by the high standard of the accommodation. The views from the cottage were amazing and it was great to be based on a working farm - really interesting and exciting for our 7 year old. Aug 2009.
th comment: The property was fantastic, great location and incredible views. The owners where very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We would recommend this property to anyone. May 2009.
th comment: Bankhead cottage was lovely, the external photos do not do it justice. Very comfortable and spacious, a well equipped kitchen with a nice large table, a great jacuzzi upstairs and brilliant views over the Firth of Forth. The owner with whom we dealt at our property, was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. In fact she went above and beyond helpful. Towards the end of our holiday, several friends had already departed, leaving two of us without a car, the owner was brilliant and more than happy to give us a lift to the local train station (and back once when her car appeared behind us!) April 2009.
th comment: We had an excellent holiday, the accommodation was brilliant, exactly what we had expected and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The weather was better than expected, the kids absolutely loved the snow. Would rate this cottage as 10/10. Feb 2009.
th comment: Excellent accommodation on this working farm. Owners very helpful, they didn’t make you feel like intruders on their daily routine. Views from the cottage, across the Forth to the bridges and Edinburgh were amazing. It was nice to watch the Hares and Buzzards from the cottage. Wonderful villages to visit along the Fife coast and frequent cheap trains to Edinburgh. Aug 2008.
th comment: It was a great holiday, it was for my 30th birthday so what a great present. Weather was lovely, did lots of sight seeing and the cottage was excellent. The owners are lovely, made us feel very welcome we will be back, the farm was great to look round, my 4 year old loved it and was the conversation for a long time. April 2007.

th Comment The jacuzzi is very slow in filling up, the sitting room is a bit small but everything else, spot on!!!! June 2007.
th Comment Excellent Cottage. Would highly recommend it for a family get away. Plenty of baby equipment already there. Beautiful views over the Forth Bridge and Edinburgh. March 2007.
