Customer Reviews of Lodge No. 1, Loch Fyne - Sleeps 4
"Ups and Downs"
The ardrishaig log cabin is in a quite spectacular setting. With magnificent views over the loch, you are literally within feet of the water. What spoils this is the main road that runs literally feet behind the cabins. The other complaints is the cost of using the hot tub £25 for 2 hours is really quite greedy! If they advertise the baths as separate costs I do think we would have booked the cabin, the other 'moan' is, I should of shopped around, because on other web sites you can actually book the same cabin for considerably less than Mackays.

"Lovely cabin in great location."
The only crticism I can make is that I wasn't aware how close to the main road the property was until I got there. This could have been made more clear. The lodge was in a very good condition and the views were spectacular. The owners were very welcoming and had equipped the lodge well.

"Apart from the rain- great"
The wooden house is right on the edge of the loch with glorious views. It reminded me of a mobile home. The only downside is that the road is very close on the other side , not a hazard for dogs or children but noisy when the bus appears to stop outside your bedroom. You can't see it but you can hear it!The main bedroom is fine, the other room is cramped and the bathroom is ok but small with shower over the bath. Kitchen is fine but also very small. It is very central for all sorts of walks and the Crinan Canal. There is loads to do .I enjoyed the holiday very much despite wet weather a lot of the time, the house was warm and the sitting room comfortable and I would go again.
