Day Activities

Throughout our guide we have lots of suggested places to visit including castles, top visitor attractions and wonderful walks.  This section of our site deals with the actual activities you can do with friends, kids, families, work colleagues and plain old strangers.  For old castles Historic Scotland is a great place to start, they list what up and coming events and updates to all the properties they look after.

You can of course book one of the many tours we have available and its east to get around using the train network.  The ghost tours in Edinburgh for example are great fun but maybe a wee scary for the young children.
