The station with its splendid architecture is spacious, designed to accommodate the large number of holidaymakers travelling from Glasgow to Rothesay

 

Aberdour Station

The station, lovingly attended by Station Master Trevor, is a delight, and a sure way of forgetting the frustrations of modern day rail travel. The station consistently wins the Scottish Best Kept Station Award, and Trevor also provides a service to the traveler  not often seen anywhere in the world. Frequent Scotrail services to Edinburgh take 35 minutes and Leuchars, the nearest station to St Andrews is just 45 minutes away
