This exceptional property, built entirely of Norway spruce logs and roofed with natural turf, shelters in a belt of mature conifer trees, one of a small exclusive group on a hillside above the pretty village of Kirkmichael. The log cabin is south-facing and the panoramic views from the patio to the heather clad hills are quite breathtaking. Patio furniture and a barbecue are provided.
This most attractive and very spacious holiday home is warm and well-insulated and features a sauna, jacuzzi and mini-gym. The interior has vaulted ceilings and large windows. The access road is quite steep and in severe weather conditions the last 100 yards to the cabin may have to be made on foot. Pub/hotel and shops 1 mile.
Kirkmichael, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is popular for an active outdoor holiday - golf, walking, hill climbing (with numerous Munros in the area), pony trekking, hang gliding, cycling and field sports or skiing in winter.
