This charming timber lodge nestles in an unspoiled and little known area of tranquil scenery between Loch Ness and the Monadliath mountains. The lodge is recently built to a very high specification and the contemporary interior is light, fresh and smart with lovely finishing touches. The living area opens onto a decked patio with furniture and barbecue for outdoor living in scenic, peaceful surroundings. It is adjacent to the owner’s home on the edge of the little hamlet of Croachy, 5 miles from the southern shore of Loch Ness.
The lodge is just ½ a mile from the Loch Ruthven RSPB Reserve and ideally situated for a relaxing away-from-it-all break in the country. Hill-walking, mountain biking and ornithology are the main attractions but the lodge is also within reach of good golf courses, angling, the excellent cultural, dining and retail facilities of Inverness (15 miles) as well as Loch Ness cruises and the Caledonian Canal through the Great Glen. A few miles south of here, the Cairngorms National Park offers a huge range of activities including winter and water sports. Shops 6 miles, pub/hotel 1 mile.
