"Bonchester Lodge"
We liked the peaceful, wooded location, with impressive view of Bonchester Hill. Modern spacious interior with open plan kitchen. Electi=ricity on meter so bring plenty of £1 coins.

"A bit disappointing"
Whilst the lodge was quite pleasantly situated, I was disappointed that there was no vehicle access, which should have been mentioned in advertising, especially when I took my parents who did not cope well with the access to the lodge owing to being partially disabled. Cleanliness was not the best - dust under the settee's, beds, window frames (and cobwebs) and also behind the TV stand. All in all we had a lovely week but the above mentioned did spoil things especially for my parents as it was a treat for them. I was reluctant to leave such negative feedback, however I feel that after mentioning the issues to the owners they did not really want to accept there was a problem.

"Lovely lodge with all you could need for a holiday"
The lodge was very nice, the children (age 12 and 14) loved playing the games. The lodge had everything needed for cooking and comfort. If travelling with small children this lodge is very well equipped for them. The area is lovely with all manner of small birds visiting the decking for food. Would certainly think about going again.

"Peace and Tranquility"
Lovely remote setting...possibly too remote for some, but a lovely place to unwind. Lovely scenery, plenty of places to visit...Most enjoyable. The house itself was fine and spacious with the exception of the toilet / showeroom, whicch was quite small
