Daftmill Distillery
Probably Scotland's smallest and newest whisky distillery and one of the few in Fife. Not open to public except by appointment.
Set up brothers in 2003 on their farm using an old mill building, Daftmill is a small distillery whose first bottle will be available soon after some ten years in the casks from Kentucky. The whisky is made from local grain from the farm and the water comes its own spring.
BTW - it is called Daft because the burn that runs through the farm appears to run upstream - "appears" because it obviously doesn't!
Opening Days & Times
Daftmill Distillery is not open to the public.
We are a small, working “farm” distillery and we do not have a visitor centre or any suitable facilities.
However we may be able to offer a guided tour to certain small interested groups or parties, by appointment
